    interpret it. By most people's estimations, it was either a stereotypical "gay pose", or it was a self adulation pose. Either way, it was unacceptable. Either he was "gay" or he was "uppity". Neither was cool.

    North Carolina: Where you can marry your cousin. Just not your gay cousin.

      like he was saying "Look at me, I'm the greatest".

      Which, while aggravating, is part of the norm of political cartooning , because that kind of thing works for people of both parties.
