      calls the diarist a neo-con.

Yup.  Everyone who disagrees with ME is the worst thing I can think of.  That is how low "debate" here has sunk.

Ultimately, the only thing that matters with respect to preserving choice is who will be nominating the next Supreme Court Justices.

This is where meteor blades shows how he is part of the problem with discourse on this blog.

        MB has removed his rec.

Frankly, I find MB to be just the opposite of your assessment. He is (sometimes irritatingly, as I have not evolved) fair in his conduct, and in his defense, of all kinds of debate and commentary on this blog.

The main problem I see in the discourse here, and this diary is a good example imo, is a desire by a more than a few extremely partisan kossacks to control the discourse on the site rather than allow a natural and democratic flow in discussion of both good and bad policy.
        Your mileage may differ.

Here is the truth: The Earth is round; Saddam Hussein did not attack us on 9/11; Elvis is dead; Obama was born in the United States; and the climate crisis is real. It is time to act. - Al Gore
