    What I know is that Bain Capital purchased AMPAD in 1992 when sales were $9 million and took it public in 1996 with sales of $200 million. I assume that as part of going public, and soon thereafter, Bain Capital sold its shares and was not involved in the company when in 1999 AMPAD ended up in Chapter 11. You can only measure BC's impact while they owned the company and controlled its actions.
