  •  Not interested in voting for Obama, no (0+ / 0-)

I am going to do some work for Grayson, and I plan on sticking around and will continue to speak my mind. I've never tried to convince anyone that they shouldn't vote for Obama. I have just stated the fact that I have no intention of voting for him, and criticized his terrible policy choices (which I intend to continue doing).

    •  glad to hear this (0+ / 0-)

That's really against the goals of this site.  As kos said:
But here's the thing -- through Election Day, we need to have a single purpose in mind. I won't say you can't bitch about the Democrats or the president, but if you don't like Obama, you're going to like Mitt Romney even less. So what do you think you are accomplishing besides satiating some apparent need for absolute purity? Feel free to unload on Obama the day after he is reelected. But for now, seriously, what do you think you're accomplishing? If Obama offends you so much that you consider him irredeemable, then become a Green and go somewhere else, because you're pretty much hopeless and a waste of everyone else's time here.

      •  Frankly, kos can shove his 'be a green' comment (0+ / 0-)

This is as much my party as his or yours.

        •  I don't think he's talking about the party (0+ / 0-)

he's talking about his site.  Very different matter.  The party is all of ours.  The site is his.

          •  Nope, he said it directly (0+ / 0-)
            then become a Green
And his site rules change faster than anyone could possibly keep up with anyway. This is the same guy who considered Lieberman 'irredeemable' and worked against him, which I agreed with. And now that we have a similar president, he's going to play purity with his site for a (very) conservative democrat? Whatever. You are right, it is his site and he can make whatever random, contradictory rules he wants on the spot on a whim. However, I intend to do the exact same thing I've always done here. Support progressives strongly and bash conservative democrats and republicans just as strongly.
