    •  No (4.00)
The GOP definition of "youthful indiscretion" is when you do a stupid thing -- such as commit infidelity -- when you are in your 40s.

It takes Republicans longer to grow up.

      See Henry Hyde for details.

      •  Didn't Hyde promise to resign from politics (none)
after his affair was outed, during the Clinton Impeachment Circus?

        •  Yes, and thanks to Larry Flynt, I might add (none)
Larry Flynt got so pissed off at the hypocrisy of the Clinton impeachment proceedings, that he offered $1 million cash to any woman who would step forward with verifiable evidence of an affair with an opposing Senator.

I think 3 senators got taken down, and more were definitely on the way, when Flynt stated he was cancelling the deal. He got a letter from a Senator's wife, begging him not to hurt more families.

I just love this little episode of history so much, and I never see it anymore. Larry Flynt: Hustler, crusader for free speech, and great American.

thanks for the memories. or "mammaries'?
          •  Yeh, darn it (none)
Sensenbrenner was next on his list of Congressen when Flynt canceled.  But oh my, the rumors that did fly in Wisconsin as to what Flynt was going to say.

With Sensenbrenner's recent behavior, do you think we could get Flynt to pull out those old files and publish now?

Yeah, but somehow I get the feeling that you're leaving out a whole lot of us women who have another issue with him.  Label him a hero, but also take the time to contemplate what he does for us women (over 50% of the population).
