  •  Doggett has a much better campaign going (0+ / 0-)

    As of  late April  Romo had only raised about $25,000 vs $1 million for Doggett. She is not known much in East Austin which is  heavily Latino, and where I sure have seen a lot of Doggett yard signs. Also she's not a very powerful speaker, and her campaign staff is definitely not in the same league with Doggett's organization which has been working in San Antonio for the past year.

      internecine battles like this are exactly what the Rescummies had in mind when they drew things out.
