    The 6 states that make up "New England" would have 4 senators instead of 12.

    I am registered to vote in Vermont, if this is the argument then neither Leahy and Sanders would probably not be in the senate. I suppose they could be replaced by senators from Texas and more Dianne Feinstein's.

      in the middle of the country would lose way more Senators than New England. The net result would be a Senate with more Democrats, on average, than we have today.
