  •  OK, I get that. (0+ / 0-)

Still, sign the damn petition.  It's a start and something you can do with a click, here, now, tonight.

Do the easy things first.  Petitions CAN be a good part of the fight.  The Color of Change has proved this brilliantly in many ways I don't have the time to catch you up on, if you don't know to what I refer.  Suffice to say that they have made hay with petitions.

Not every petition is equal, but it can't hurt to sign.  We must guard against the idea that the simple steps are to be hopped over with disdain.

If you don't have a bigger and better solution for tonight, then sign the petition.  We'll see what tomorrow brings.  And I like you, hope that it will be a show of force from the Democrats on this issue.

And btw, never hurts to e-mail the DNC and the White House on this as well.  Some think it's a waste of time, I don't.  I know they keep track of all of it---not your every word and passion, but they way the wind is blowing.

Help blow that wind.  Start with the easy, and work up to the hard.

Sometimes we all just "snap a little."  Some time in the future, I'm sure you'll hear my "twig snap."  No doubt about it.

Sweet dreams till then, and may we Democrats be more united than divided. That's what it's going to take.  We're going to need to herd ourselves to the priorities, or we're going to lose this thing.
