  •  The majority of voters in her CD are as batspit as (1+ / 0-)

    she is.

I volunteered for the DFL in her district last time around. We had an excellent candidate, and worked long and hard to get her elected - but the truth is that most of the voters in her district:

    • vote republican, without regard to the candidate, or
    • are troll-class conservatives, or
    • share Bachmann's prejudices, voting ideology regardless of consequences.

They had the highest unemployment and foreclosure rates in the state, yet cheered her for opposing anything that would have helped them.

I think that redistricting made her district even more red, although it put her outside her own district.

In MN, you don't have to live in the district you represent, but it usually helps you get elected.

Chip Cravaack, on the other hand, moved his family to New Hampshire. One could make the argument that he no longer lives in the Iron Range, or Minnesota, and that would be a deal-breaker!

Supply follows consumption. You cannot stimulate consumption by crushing the consumer. Deal with it.
