an R - Greg Walden. Anyone who has seen this guy by himself at Safeway, has seen one of the loneliest and woeful people on the planet.

The east side keeps him in Washington.

    Great diary. Thank you.

Science is hell bent on consensus. Dr. Michael Crichton said “Let’s be clear: The work of science has nothing to do with consensus... which is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right,”

Beautiful part of the state, and liberal. It's a shame it's stuck with Rep. Walden for another decade.

Keeper of the DKE glossary. Priceless: worth a lot; not for sale.

recital along with our daughter years ago.  Her violin was a real beauty, which I complemented Greg on. He made a very dour comment that even with what money could buy his wife, it wasn't good enough. egads.

Hood River is innately beautiful, being totally despoiled by rampant chemical spraying with no protection for the people.

Powerful interests even kept those appealing to Salem for buffer zones and hand spraying near schools from prevailing. Not even for kids.
