    ...does it take a position?

Guess what: It doesn't. It points out two possibilities. and asks, "Any Questions?"

I am criticizing an inane notion in Occupy that voting does not matter, from a stance of having provided lots of works used by Occupy.

      •  It is stunning... (0+ / 0-)

...that you side with elements in Occupy who are forwarding the idea to boycott elections.

As I've asked before, which mole at Occupy planted that idea?

      •  And worse.... (0+ / 0-)

You think that each person must adhere to all points of cited doctrine issued by one arm of a movement and if they don't, they cannot be a part. Never mind that they hold to 95% of things. Wow. Seriously, that's no different than authoritarian fundamentalism among some conservative groups. Like Conservative Baptists, for instance.

Like I've said before, some on the Left have a very serious authoritarian streak that is really no different than is among some conservatives.

          man of straw there.

the part everyone seems to have a problem with is you posting under the Occupy name without being sanctioned by the GA, and posting what is definitely a partisan posting which goes against Occupy's wishes, whether you care to admit it or not. i daresay, you certainly didn't post this at Red State or Free Republic, right?

            Here you go: http://www.facebook.com/...

It's Occupy San Francisco, coming out in favor of voting third party. How about you use your blatant authoritarian streak to try to force them to live by OWS NY dogma?

Don't miss the posts there by "Karl Rove and Ops." They're priceless!!!

caption that was first posted by a third party group. that's not coming out in favor of it. that's posting a pic they agree with. you would know that if you knew how facebook works.

and i'm not authoritarian. i just dig respect, and your stealing the Occupy name for your own gain (fame or fortune-wise) while not agreeing with a lot of what they stand for is not only disrespectful, it's kinda craven.

and yeah, some of us have been standing for the same principles for decades, and to see a Democratic WH and Senate act counter to those principles gives a lot of us pause. i didn't agree with it when Bush did it, and i certainly don't agree to it simply because a Dem is doing it now. i'm not fair weather. my principles don't change just cuz the occupants in power do. sorry you just don't get that.

              •  Double-standard, eh? (0+ / 0-)

When sharing it, they could have saved the image and uploaded it, thus removing the "NO" to Obama, "NO" to the GOP, "YES" to Rocky Anderson 2012", plus they did not need to add their own tagline, "Change We Can Believe In?" to augment the Rocky Anderson message.

                •  yeah, cuz gee, why do it the quick way... (0+ / 0-)

why not add several steps before you can add a picture to your wall. just in case some one not as quick of wit decides that it must mean that you endorse not the picture, but the group that originally posted it.

and really, i haven't seen a whole lot of change i can believe in. a little, but some of that change has been very very bad. like repeated drone strikes killing civilians. that's pretty bad, hence the message they put on the picture...

and how is it a double standard? i'm thinking you are either pretty young or you really need to invest in a dictionary.

and i'll tell you this, Obama certainly isn't doing much to earn my vote. he seems to be doing a lot to dissuade my vote.

extreme partisans like you - someone who thinks nothing of stealing the name of a popular organization that you don't even agree with much at all and using it for your own gain - are doing a lot of damage too. what you're doing is certainly not GOTV - GOTV is not meant for diehard partisans (the choir), it's meant to persuade those who aren't die hard, and all you're doing here is damage to Obama, with me and several other posters that may need persuading. i've been doing GOTV since 1986 and if this is your best GOTV, then you suck at it.

                  •  Here's your... (0+ / 0-)

Occupy SF folks jumping right into it again: http://www.facebook.com/...

I'm expecting to see you make lots of replies there, enforcing the dogma of Party Line. You can just cut and past stuff from here.

                    •  man, you just don't get it do you? that's not... (0+ / 0-)

being partisan - that's pointing out what's actual. that both parties are essentially becoming the same...

the cartoon here says that and the cartoon with Obama, Clinton, and Romney says that...

which is the point of being non-partisan.

the GOP Congress at the tit cartoon is highlighting the money that buys gov't, and that is one of the Occupy points.

and the Milwaukee one against Scott Walker is about standing with the 99 percent - the workers who continue getting the shaft. again, another Occupy point.

these aren't being partisan, they're highlighting the issues that area dear to Occupy.

but you would know that were you involved with Occupy.

                      •  *You* don't get it. (0+ / 0-)

Occupy SK stated below the graphic "What’s calamitous is believing there’s a modicum of difference between the two parties."  My graphic shows that fallacious. It's called having a conversation. Disagreement.

So by your reasoning, it's perfectly fine and in keeping with Occupy dogma for Occupy San Francisco to show graphically the notion that "there’s [not] a modicum of difference between the two parties," but it is absolutely against Occupy dogma for Occupy* Posters to show graphically that is not so. Wow, just completely wow. And you don't want Occupiers having any sort of disagreement. Your hypocrisy is simply stunning, absolutely stunning, but it's that deep authoritarian streak in you blinding you to that, I'm thinking.

With Democrats like these--opposed to "electioneering" for the Democratic candidate for president--who needs Republicans?
