    He wants to help "identify" the people who "concocted" the  "fraudulent petitions"?

    I don't know how things work in Michigan, but here in Ohio, it's the job of the CANDIDATE to circulate petitions to get on the ballot, not necessarily to circulate petitions himself (although many do) but and to orchestrate and oversee the collection of signatures. So either McCotter has turned a blind eye to some very incompetent hires he's made or he himself doesn't understand the process.

    We had something vaguely like this happen in Ohio (candidate forced to run as write-in because he got a few too many signatures from people who didn't live in the district) but nothing of this magnitude. The buck ends with the candidate, and it's obviously McCotter's incompetence that was driving this.

    (The Ohio candidate won — and eventually won a seat in Congress in the general election. But McCotter's issues seem great than Charlie Wilson's).

    Take the "Can't(or)" out of Congress. Support E. Wayne Powell in Va-07.
