    nor was he during this fiasco.

    If the problems are going unsolved after the abuses of banks and mortgage lenders, the responsibility lies with the WH and Congress.

    Clinton isn't in office, he can't change any of that.

        The legislation was called the Gramm-Rudman Act, passed by a veto-proof majority.

        When we start placing the blame where it belongs, on the GOP, we'll make better progress in getting the problem solved.

        The propensity here for blaming Clinton for every problem in government today is holding us back.  It's wrong and its getting us nowhere.
