  •  I am sure a few won't. Noses and faces separated. (8+ / 0-)

However, I am guessing this story got out there because some disgruntled NN 12 attendee spoke to the press and spoke as if he or she spoke for everybody.

There are leaders of some progressive groups who are taking swipes at the President for 'not doing enough'.  Arshad Hasan, Executive Director of Democracy for America  would only offer qualified support, while Rashad Robinson, of Color of Change said that The President had lost some Black support.

Both men said that Obama would be a much better choice than Romney, but they also provided the CBS reporter the opportunity to emphasize the divisions within the progressive coalition.

I would think that at this point in the election cycle, every progressive leader would be throwing their full-bodied support behind our President.

This is not the time to nit-pick over the Presidents record on progressive causes. He has been a solid supporter of the progressive agenda. I don't agree with him on every issue, but I definitely don't think this is the time for that discussion - not with less than 5 months before one of the most important elections in this country's history.

Here's my take on it - the revolution will not be blogged, it has to be slogged. - Deoliver47
