  •  it will be interesting to see how this goes. (14+ / 0-)

my prediction is that Grover will lose this rhetorical battle to JEB.  why?  a lot of repubs know exactly how foolish they sound with the tax stuff.  I'd say a great many of them are now just boxed in and terrified of losing their position so they roll with it.  hardly anyone believes that NEVER raising taxes is a good thing.  I was watching Morning Joe grill Sen. Barasso (R-nincompoop) about this (in an attempt to show how the president was obstinate and out of touch), asking whether Barrasso would vote for Simpson-Bowles, were the president to begin championing the commission reccommendations, and while Barasso maintained the Norquist stance, you could see Joe wincing like "dammit all I just did was show how repubs are obstinate and out of touch"

and it's my opinion that this is a calculated move by JEB to start the long, arduous process of cleaning up his family name so he can position himself well for 2016.

to wake up to a fact of about Taxes "Rising Taxes is POWER,if you can't Rise Taxes you've got no POWER and Politicians must have POWER or what's the use of being a Politician there's easier ways of becoming Rich&Powerful but those don't have "The POWER" ".
