    When I was in the Navy, I saw it all the time, and fact is you got in trouble for trying to stop it.  Women had 2 choices on a ship - sleep with a guy or 2, or, if they stood up for themselves, they'd be accused of being a lesbian and were harassed all the time.

    Most ridiculous thing I ever saw was when we had women come aboard my cruiser in the shipyard. One night, my f-up Seaman Hudson fell asleep in a fan room and missed his watch.  Now, this was a guy whose picture is next to the word ugly in the dictionary, and what he lacked in looks, he lacked in personality, hygiene and intelligence.  But, he claimed that one of the female sailors said she would stand his watch if he had sex with her.  

    And guess who the Command Master Chief, Chief Engineer and Executive Officer believed? Seaman Hudson of course, and they took the female sailor to a type of non-judicial punishment called Captain's Mast.  

    Sorry, but my daughter is going nowhere near the military.
