  •  Used to be, in the USA, the people (19+ / 0-)

already here took precedence over "potential" life.

But that has been manipulated into the most divisive issue of our time.  it has kept "the sides" from coming together and actually DOING something about the wealth inequality in our country.  For 4 decades now.

I tell people straight up:  don't want an abortion, don't get one.   I usually hand them an adoption application too.  That never goes over well :-)

than actual life.  They want lots of live babies so they can grow up to be dead soldiers and if some women die from ectopic pregnancies then that is collateral damage.  Hell, I fully expect a proposal from the Rethugs that soldiers seriously wounded in combat be given the option of either requesting a mercy kill or being forced to pay full costs for their lifesaving medical treatment including the cost of evac from the combat zone.

There is no saving throw against stupid.

teh discussion I got into earlier today.  Forced Birther, who was using the window dressing of "wanting to discuss Stem Cell research" for his "life begins at conception" right wing talking points...  Including the old "well abortion favors the rights of the woman OVER the rights of the unborn"  in which he specifically  included embryo, zygote, bloastocyst and any other term for a cell cluster as a "human person"... but then insisted he wasn't talking about abortion, oh noes! perish the thought! he was only interested in the morality of embryonic stem cell research, and if "anything good had ever come of it".
