    gunsmoke.

    Ugh.  I hated that show.  When it came on, I was glad to go to bed.

    heh.

    A friend of mine and I always hit the library in the summer months with school out.  I think we practically lived at the library - besides which in the summer, it was one of the cooler places to be.  We'd find a window and just sit in it (since the windows were created with seating) and read.

      But I liked the Dick Van Dyke Show.  And as a young teenaged boy, I had a particular fondness for I Dream of Jeannie!  :-)

      I can't imagine any actor,today starting a show with the that unflattering visual! lol!

      I look back and think I hate the stereotyping. Big sheriff, handicapped deputy, woman saloon owner-with all indications she was sleeping with the sheriff, but it marriage.
