    The proof I referred to was in regards to the psychological theory.  In a court of law, it would be sufficient to prove that the rape occurred, just as in a robbery it is not necessary to prove motive (money versus power), only that the robbery occurred.  The exception to that, I suppose, would be when the prosecution wishes to prove a hate crime.

    As for the particular issue of military rape, I believe that is more a matter of men having the power to commit the rape and then get away with it.  This consideration is independent of the question of the motive for the rape.
