    If justice prevails, Voss Lighting is burnt toast. Burnt with fire and brimstone toast.

    Their assertion that the hiring decision was made on the basis of professional qualifications, and not illegal discrimination, is basically something they had to say for the purpose of making a public statement. If they have competent legal counsel, and they follow their advice, they will negotiate a settlement with the EEOC and Mr. Wolfe.

    Assuming what is alleged is true, the religious questions asked during the interview are more than enough evidence to prove illegal hiring practices. Short of everything being on tape, a plaintiff’s attorney could not ask for a more favorable set of facts for a successful discrimination claim.
