  •  you are right...however, (27+ / 0-)

This information, in my opinion, is not in the category of your definition of "Two wrongs don't make a right".

It is a direct reflection on the character of the people who wish to live in the people's White House.

The character of the people who seek the office of the President is very important to me.  I believe this is a valid piece of information which reflects on both Romney and his wife Ann, and should be made public for all to review.   I would have voted for McCain until he made his choice for VP, his choice showed his character to me, he lost my support.  I voted for Obama and will vote again for Obama.

I have some influence on my husband and thus, If he ran for public office, his character would be a concern of the voter and my character would absolutely be a part of the scrutiny of any voter.  To say it doesn't matter is as unreal as not looking beyond the candidate to where he gets his money and who he looks to for advice.  It is all in play.

    •  This speaks to the "character" issue (12+ / 0-)

of a potential POTUS and FLOTUS.

Remember how appalled we all were (are) about Sarah Palin's enthusiasm for wolf hunting by helicopters?  Sure, not part of her prospective job as VP, but, hey, the character issue?  eek.

Just because this is "common" unethical practice in the equine business doesn't mean that we should just yawn and move on about Ann Romney and her horse/s.   This is like saying that credit-default-swaps and other questionable Wall Street banking unethical scams are "common" in their industry, so, nothing to see here, move on.  NOT.

Thank you, Veritas, for bringing this to our attention.  Needs to go widely viral, imo.

in 2008?!  Except for Sarah on the ticket??

Ummmm...I hope hanging out here in DKos has shown you the serious consequences that would've ensued with a McCain presidency, with or without the Ailin' Palin.  Y'think?

I wish I could.  He's not as horsey as she is.  But it wouldn't surprise me if he said, "sell the horse and get back what we paid for it" at least.
