  •  So was the Wagner Act (5+ / 0-)

The Constitution should be neither pro- nor anti- union.

But to be anti-union is to be anti-progressive and anti-middle class.

which is why it is hard to have a neutral discussion of this nearly anywhere on the internet!

      •  This is a progressive blog (5+ / 0-)

IF you are looking for the anti union view, you know where to find it.

      •  there are not too many people, IMO, (1+ / 0-)

who are capable of being neutral and being neutral all the time may be impossible.
The internet is especially not a place where peer review keeps peoples' biases under control. The conspiracy therorists (and I have to work at it to keep from falling into the ct trap) are everywhere.
My old man keeps telling me how I'm incapable of being neutral - so I'm trying a little harder, 'cause I don't want to be a shill -

I think that Jon Stewart tries to be neutral.

Since Stephen Colbert tries to mock the right wing by feigning allegiance, it's hard for me to determine if he has any interest in neutrality - I think he has a great deal of respect for the truth and a sympathy for downtrodden people.

I like it when people try to do peer review on others' biases, including my own.
The internet is very young - if it's kept open and not censored, perhaps informed comment will rise to the top.

Finally people have gotten sick and tired of being had and taken for idiots. Mikhail Gorbachev
