    well, them having a good average indicates that this court is FAR more conservative than predecessors.

      In 30 years it will be more liberal than we ever thought possible.  You want a stacked court, elect more Democrats to the Senate.

        The real constraint is the White House.

        In the past 40 years, only one SCOTUS nominee sent to Capitol Hill has failed to be confirmed.  (I'm not counting Harriet Miers.)
