  •  Rightwing "Christians" and the two masters (12+ / 0-)

    problem:

    Matthew 6
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
They've made "mammon" a demon, but in fact the word is aramaic for "Wealth" or "Worldly Possessions."

So there it is: Which do you serve? And then, who are they aligned with but people who live for Wealth and more Wealth, and then, more Wealth.

There's something about vipers and hypocrites in there too.

          1.  The constitution of the United States, art. 6, s. 3, declares that "no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office, or public trust under the United States."
           2. This clause was introduced for the double purpose of satisfying the scruples of many respectable persons, who feel an invincible repugnance to any religious test or affirmation, and to cut off forever every pretence of any alliance between church and state in the national government.

Watching, listening, and observing republicans, tea party in action is at times like an out of body experience.

It is odd as all hell that what has made this country a beacon for the world, a light when their was darkness; now the elements of greed, hate, and ignorance are determined to destroy what so many have cherished.

I am athiest and I say, forgive them lord for they know not what they do.
