    than a year. Once the horse goes to a new owner and a new program, it's not necessarily reasonable to expect permanent right of return.

    By the way, this wasn't her favorite horse. She never competed this horse herself.

      In one of them, she says something like "you're not supposed to have favorites among your horses or children, but this horse was special."  (I think that that may be straight from the deposition.)  I'd agree that it was not her favorite horse to compete on, but that's different.

        but I'm pretty sure you're mistaken, that it's her horse Baron that she's called her special favorite in interviews.
