    health care if it is struck down.  A lot of us seem to think single payer would be in the very near horizon.  No way will that happen.  

    Health care will be political poison for years after the decision.  You can forget any meaningful bills to pass for a great while....especially anything we would want and like.

      If it's struck down, the industry goes right back to where it was before, shedding millions of customers a year as rates simply rise too high for most Americans to afford anything worth having.

      Within a decade, we'll hit complete crisis mode, with 1/3 to 1/2 the country without health insurance.  That will end up forcing some sort of public solution, because Congress certainly won't compel private industry to provide an affordable insurance product that actually provides any real benefits.  If they don't address it, masses of incumbents will be forced out of office.
