and grapes!!!  I have two little Thompson white seedless plants that are beautiful but not producing yet...How many Concords do you have and have you any advice for a successful crop?
LOL...no tomatoes yet but are we ever ready after last year's debacle....we actually killed our entire crop with too much organic food.  This year we're leaving it up to Mother Nature and thus far the plants are beautiful and about 3 weeks away from giving us tomato sandwiches!!!  We were really late planting due to the focus on the fence but all is good.  Now if everything will survive the 100 degree plus temps this weekend....
Thanks again so much for all the hugs....I'm so glad you're here.  ♥

We're walking temples of noise, and when you add tender hearts to this mix, it somehow lets us meet in places we couldn't get to any other way.-Anne Lamott

grapes except to say be patient! The old rule about first year they sleep, next year they creep, third year they leap needs to be modified with "fourth year start a winery"! We didn't trim them the first year. Now we cut them back right before winter. Other than that we just enjoy enjoy enjoy. I am not going to be the one to advise you to use any time of plant food (lol), but I do think proper soil and drainage is important. We started with 3 one-gallon plants and they have spread about 8 feet. Our soil is really good, so we don't do anything to it. Maybe we just lucked out.
I am really glad that you are going to have tomatoes. Will there be enough to freeze for winter chili?
