  •  We are witness to the mainstreaming of (0+ / 0-)

    conspiracy theories.

When a complacent media favors ad dollars/shareholder value over investigative journalism, our country ends up with a mess like F and F.

If this strategy of making up shit and holding the AG of the US in contempt is successful, watch out. There are endless CT's in the rw nuttosphere and they are queueing up as we speak.

Mitt Romney deserves a lot of credit for creating Mitt Romney.

    •  They have to do something to break into the news (0+ / 0-)

cycle and try to hijack the narrative.
      That's their first goal.
Issa's made chairman and so he starts making a list of things he can do to hack away at Obama. This comes up and he gives it a hearing, then waits to see what sticks. If it sticks, then he runs with it, milks it for what it's worth.

Remember before the election when the gop was all about jobs, jobs, jobs?

Now it's looking like this story is about to turn around and bite Issa and the gop on the ass.
That's why the NRA is ginning up the hysteria.

You can't make this stuff up.
