    show that churches and charities do not, can not, meet the needs of all those who need specific services the govt. provides.

    I read a Forbes magazine a couple months ago and nearly every columnist was advocating no govt. help for the "poor" and all of those programs to be replaced by church and charity. The most amazing part of this was they extolled the late 19th century when this was the case as being a golden age where everything was right and good. This really is how some of these pigs think, and Forbes columnists are not dumb slobbering tea partiers but rich elitists 'in the movement'.
