  •  I am so sorry (37+ / 0-)

You have always been in my prayers.

Which is why, I must confess, I couldn't help smiling as I finished reading your diary.

I am in total caregive mode right now with 6 kids and 2 handicapped people.
Who else could rise to that occasion?

Keep the kids swimming.  Lots of time in the pool translates into lots of time sleeping.

Just like advice to new parents- rest when all is quiet.  Let the small things go.  And don't forget to breathe.

I placed you and Michelle on my prayer list.  You for continued strength and Michelle for a speedy recovery.

All wounded warriors and their families have always been on the list, as well as caregivers.

Break it down.  One day at a time (or hour if the going is really tough).

    This too shall pass.

Somethings just aren't worth fretting about. God created dirt, I reckon (if there is a Creator then dirt musta been just the first thing created, then came water and then mud!
      And maybe a few rocks.)

And the most important thing is you and your hubby and keeping on an even keel. So far your hubby is rising to the occasion and make sure he knows how much you appreciate that and to keep it coming!

Little peeps might like stories. Ask vet hubby if he wants to tell them any or if not will he make up pool games or get them to turn somersaults on pillows. Show them how to fall on the pillows so that they can have some fun that way. Blankets and tables make good tents. Hubby might get a kick out of making an obstacle course for them. (He might not as some guys might not be to keen on little peeps. Just take what you can get - maybe a lifeguard on pool duty.)

      •  Funny thing about vets..they arise to the occasion (7+ / 0-)

during the crisis.  We won't let the kids out there withoutwithout watchers.  Peeps are totally off the walls and can't be still for stories.  Jack iwas going
past 48 for sleep/  I crashed around 4 for a two hour nap and Michelle is just heartbroken over that possible and probable job loss not to mention the leg.  Prayers and good thoughts so welcome.  Ask bear and glorificous..I was so UP before all this nonsesne.  That's life I guess.
