No insurance company wants to repeal the ACA! They'd be cutting their own fucking throats!

They don't care about exclusions or limitations or whatever. THE GOVERNMENT FUNDING WILL MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE. They don't CARE about anything except remaining in existence and being allowed to fleece their customers.

And Obama just made the US government their BIGGEST customer to fleece. You are dead wrong in this 'scoop', but one thing is true: Only a Republican, especially a SENATOR, would believe for a second that repealing this law was even remotely possible. It's pretty obvious that these 'insurance companies' sitting in GOP Senators' offices are just there for COVER. Lip service to the Tea-brainers who GAVE them the ACA instead of Medicare for Everyone.

    •  The insurance companies have been fighting it the (0+ / 0-)

whole time.  With all of the regulations and being able to choose who to cover and for how much, they will lose and they know it.   The insurance companies were not going under, they had record profits and they held all the reins before.

    •  Don't forget the expansion (0+ / 0-)

of the Community Health Centers.  ACA provides lots of money to build new centers, and to expand existing centers and upgrade equipment, so they can provide services for more people.  If the Community Health Centers continue to expand, eventually we will arrive at Universal Health Care!

Could it be that the mandate is simply a carrot for the insurance companies so the law could get passed? I'm hoping that the health insurance industry will begin to shrink as the Community Health Centers expand and other provisions of ACA begin to take effect.
