    There isn't a single Republican who thinks pollution affects the climate. Doesn't matter if your state is burning to the ground during another epic heatwave
    LIke it or not, Republicans have acknowleged the issue - as a matter of fact GWB did:
    President George W. Bush, long accused of ignoring the problem of climate change and opposing international efforts to develop a solution, has proposed his own strategy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions that intensify the greenhouse effect and contribute to global warming.
    “In recent years, science has deepened our understanding of change and opened new possibilities for confronting it,” Bush said in announcing his proposal. “The United States takes this issue seriously.”
    Now mind you, his plan was to have a "voluntary" plan in place for 2030 - you can't really make the statement you made in a diary that says "Both sides do it" - they do - they distort to make their points which is exactly what you are doing.

    I enjoy your diaries in general but wish some of the details be more factual.
