is that the rebels are using their weapons to target Syrian civilians. Read HRW report:

Armed rebels fighting the regime of Syria's Bashar al-Assad have committed "serious human rights abuses," an influential human rights watchdog said Tuesday.

In an open letter to leaders of the opposition, Human Rights Watch cites "increasing evidence" of kidnappings, torture and executions and calls on those forces "to refrain from engaging in these unlawful practices."

Also it seems they may have gotten hold of chemical weapons and are planning to use it against civilians:
The armed Syrian opposition has got their hands on chemical weapons, which they acquired from Libya, a media report claims. They allegedly plan to use it against civilians and pin the atrocity on the Bashar al-Assad regime.

    •  You cite Russia Today about what the rebels might (4+ / 0-)

      have or might do?

You do realize that those are Russian made tanks and Russian made guns shooting ammunition that has no doubt been resupplied by Russia in the last 15 months, and Russian helicopters that are delivering death from above?

RT is not exactly a trusted source when it comes to facts about Syria. They back Assad and his lies all the way.

I have never heard RT call out Assad for anything. He's an angel according to RT.

Also the "rebels" are not targeting civilians and that's not what the HRW report says. Only Assad is trying to wipe out civilians.

First you commit a logic fallacy known as the ad hominem. You attack the messenger without refuting the message. You don't attack the arguments on its merits i.e., trying to debunk whether or not the statement is true you attack the entity making the statement.

Now on to HRW. What you say is false. Here are the exact words:

Abuses of this nature, including torture, taking of hostages, and executions by armed opposition members, have also been documented by the UN-mandated Commission of Inquiry in its February 2012 report. In addition to concluding that armed members of the opposition have committed gross human rights abuses, the Commission’s report also references and appends documentation received from the Syrian government indicating that armed opposition members have kidnapped, killed, and disappeared civilians and security force members and displaced civilians.
