    is not enlightened by any definition of the word. He's a multimillionaire corporatist, not a movement conservative, and tends to think in a more logical fashion than your typical teabagger.

    He probably figured the court fight over the laws would waste valuable time and political capital that could be better spent transferring public assets to cronies, and shifting the tax burden to the working class, the poor, and retirees.

    He's not so much concerned with personal power, as with rigging the system in favor of the wealthy and big business.

      Snyder is no saint, not by a long shot...

      Perhaps he viewed overt voter suppression as "a bridge too far" for the Michigan GOP to reach this year... next year? Who knows...

      Poor Michigan... ravaged by the economy, repaired (somewhat) by a Democratic Governoe, and rent asunder by a Republican Governor and legislature.

      Who votes these Republican idiots into office, AND WHY?

      For a better America, vote the GOP out of office whenever and wherever possible and as soon (and as often) as possible!
