    That word is not acceptable in that context.  Period.

    I'm quite aware that the word has other meanings, especially in Britain in earlier times, but that was obviously not the context that individual used.

    I support the LGBT community, and certain individuals, in particular, are some of my favorite people (one friendship goes back over 35 years).

    There are just certain things that should not be done, and using that word in a derogatory fashion is one of them.

    I'm sick of attempts to steer this nation from principles evolved in The Age of Reason to hallucinations derived from illiterate herdsmen. ~ Crashing Vor
