  •  Everything indicates that R elites believe that. (12+ / 0-)

Nobody is all in on Mitt.  Everyone is finding reasons to blame someone for Mitt losing, and in most cases, Mitt hisself.

I don't think the WSJ would be throwing roundhouse punches at Mitt if it thought Mitt would become president, I don't think all the endorsers would have waited and then give halfassed, qualified "meh" endorsements if they thought they would be under Mitt's thumb.

SCANDAL: Bush Supreme Court nominee Roberts upholds Romney's individual mandate! Another politically motivated decision!

Wow. Even though Romney is a terrible candidate, you'd think the state of the economy would make them believe the election is still up for grabs.

The second-hand embarrassment would be so powerful even I might feel awkward and uncomfortable in between the giggles. He won't just be "damaged goods." He'd be a bigger joke than Palin, and his own party will be the ones laughing and pointing the loudest.

      •  Oh, for sure; not only does losing in (0+ / 0-)

2012 make you next in line (strange as that sounds) but you can tell the base it was all because Mitt deviated from their demands.
