    Even a cursory Google search will help you to understand that sea level is influenced by winds, currents. ocean oscillations and basin temperatures, as well as by tectonic processes.  The paper concerning the mid-Atlantic region was mainly about models that projected local effects due to a slowing Gulf Stream.

    Sea level rise or fall will most certainly not be uniform over the world's coastal regions.

    Where are we, now that we need us most?
