    Not you, obviously, but some of us believe that establishing a democratic system is an important means of bringing about more decent governance.

    And no, none of those links even come close to demonstrating that the new government is behaving just as badly as the old.  For one thing - perhaps you skimmed over that part - most of them about about militias that are not under the government's control.  Again, some of us see the establishment of a democratically-legitimate government to be a big deal when it comes to consolidating its control over the country - again, those of use who believe in democracy.

    Nor do any of the stories you link to even begin to approach the depraved horror of the old regime, such as the Abu Salim prison massacre.
