But where exactly is Mitt from? Or who would claim him? Utah perhaps (then the Wicked Witch of the West analogy gains another facet). Michigan, his birthplace? He has so many homes in so many places, where is his real home? Or the place that he calls home. Does he have a home in the Caymans where some of his money lives? Where does he vote? Where is his driver's license from (maybe those dastardly Voter ID laws will catch up with him)?

I mean it. Just exactly where is his home. He's like a chameleon. Maybe he's from everywhere, and nowhere. Or is he deliberately trying to confuse everyone, because he certainly confuses me (but not with whether he should be President--because there the answer is a loud unequivocal NO!)

Liberals think the glass is half-full. Conservatives think the glass is theirs.

I cannot think of any successful presidential candidate who didn't convey a clear sense of home.  We all knew Barack Obama was Hawaii and Chicago (and his detractors focused on Kenya and Indonesia).  We all knew his rival McCain was Arizona.  We all knew Bush was Texas, and Gore a mix of Tennessee and DC.  Clinton, Arkansas.  Reagan, California. Carter, Georgia.  Etc.

      Romney, ???
