    I understand that often people will stretch into hyperbole when they are making a point or arguing a topic.  Ordinarily it is easily recognized as over-the-top and exaggeration.  Somewhere, however, the conservatives failed to tell their supporters that comparing their opposition to Nazis should only be a figure of speech.  The conservatives started encouraging their followers to believe that their opposition are ACTUALLY Nazis or socialists or communists or...

    Even at the depths of the Bush II presidency, as our Constitution was shredded and our personal rights were suspended to facilitate "security," any Progressive who even remotely whispered the name "Hitler" would have Godwin's Law slapped in their face and be told to STOP in no uncertain terms by every other Progressive in the room, often with much derision.  

    Our opponents keep proving they have no morals or scruples.  There is no bar low enough or line-in-the-sand far enough, beyond which they will not venture.
