    But he won in a year when a lot of the population wasn't much engaged and didn't even bother to vote.  I just don't think he influences the vote in Ohio. I recall that there has already been one poll that confirms that, but I don't remember whose poll it was. Personally, I'm more concerned about the efforts to disenfranchise Ohio voters than I am about Portman on the ticket. I'm in Summit Co. and the GOP is working very hard to make it difficult for people to vote.

      people in Ohio barely know who Portman is. I think voter suppression IS the thing to be worried about — but to be vigilant about, not all hand-wringing.

      Take the "Can't(or)" out of Congress. Support E. Wayne Powell in Va-07.
