    know, after the whole 'house of cards' collapses under the weight of too many lies and complex schemes?

    Nationalization of banks by every nation?

    Because from the cheap seats, it looks like a clean sweep is about the only thing that will cure the built-in corruption in banking on the national/international levels.

    How can we (the world's 99%) allow the current banking industry to survive intact, and expect the same people who dreamed up and planned and executed all of these schemes not to continue to pillage the world's economies to fund their King Midas-lifestyles?

    I think they will do it as long they can. There's just no cure, it seems, for unbridled greed.

    Nationalization won't cure corruption in the long run, but it could certainly give the world's capital markets a clean start and a couple decades of stability to try and fend off the next rise of the greedy, because without a doubt, there will be a next time.
