  •  No they are not. (8+ / 0-)

Reading RW sites, the big boos are a great plus for them and a minus for Obama. Why the fuck would they they think having their candidate roundly booed by any group was an advantage?

Oh, yeah. Consolidating the white racist vote.

Trouble is, Romney already had those guys. His cynical calculation is he wins more than he loses from this.

I doubt it. Obama was elected president over a freaking war hero by a large percent--a guy who beat Romeny's ass no less. Whatever "gain" Romney hoped to achieve by this lies squarely in his own base.

In short, Romney is running scared and to the right. He knows he's going to lose and doesn't want to lose by an embarrassing margin.

Americans are dumb, but not THIS dumb. When I lived overseas, I bought "A Dogs Guide to Americans" and it was quite instructive (they do a guide to every culture and they're all hilarious). The first paragraph described Americans as lappy, over-eager, jumpy Labrador Retrievers, who love clonking in on everyone's space, invading it in a friendly manner, licking their hands and trying to make people love them,  shaking their tails and demanding petting all the while.

Romney is horrible at petting mutts. I'm going to restrain myself from metaphor and envourage others.

Americans will re-elect Obama. I live in swingy Virginia and have no doubt he'll win this state.

      Disgusting people.
