  •  I went to great lengths to keep the smell limited (13+ / 0-)

around friends and step daughter and grandkids. I also never smoked in front of kids. Any kids.

I looked a long way back into my teenage years and then through late 20s...I smoked because it was the cool thing to do.  In the Army in the 1970s - we all smoked, and cigarettes were $0.35 a pack.  I smoked in my home until about 10 years ago.  Then we added an enclosed patio...door to house closes, and that's my limited space.

The thing is - quitting, or not, is a personal decision.  Each of us chooses to smoke for some reason, we find our own way of quitting if we want to.

So, this is where the Gave Up Smoking crowd, or soon to give up smoking folks hang out...or until you find the place in yourself to decide if you will join us.

We love you, no matter what decision you make.

Nothing astonishes men so much as common sense and plain dealing.Ralph Waldo Emerson, 1841
