  •  Aloha from York County, Maine (9+ / 0-)

Cheers to Coconut Milk Ice Cream, which is part of what is keeping me sane (meds are helping me too).

Jeers to Sarah, who has decided to be an ass about my birthday weekend, and that she is going to stonewall everything so that she can spend it her way--sleeping. I've been planning on going to an SCA event for months, and this has been no secret. I finally, after 2 weeks of begging, got her to get me to a fabric store today, and now I have to make her garb IN ONE NIGHT.
I'll be hemming in the car tomorrow.

Jeers to having to machine sew everything, but I just don't have time for anything else. Jeers to not having time to work on the label design for my beer entry for the competition (just got a printer, was no point before).  fucking jeers to not being able to embroider my blue feather, to properly ID me as LGBT.

I'm full of love and cuddles tonight. I'm on day 3 of a migraine, and this ain't helping.

Cheers to cool classes tomorrow, and getting to see friends. And may Stonemarche kick Malagentia's ass! (I miss the days when it was called S&M, not GNEW, heh.)

Oh, and if anyone can do basic graphic design, I'd love you forever. I have said graphics, and said text, and even the f'n template... just don't have time to put them together. I'm only here because both the sewing machine and I needed the break, lol.

But it is looking awesome. I'm a great seamstress.

Slojo and Darla stood together on the drawbridge at Perkins Cove, looking down upon a small, picturesque collection of fishing boats rocking gently on the protected, still waters of the safe harbor. That calm was in marked contrast to the seas pounding the rocks along the very scenic path that followed the shore toward Israel Head, which the locals, with that peculiar down-easterner zeal for leaving the lily ungilded, have persisted in calling Marginal Way Walk.

and I wait for them to interrupt my drinking from this broken cup
