    any answer you want, including the one you asked. However, if you asked people to pick between fighting climate change and $2/gal gasoline I think that most Americans would pick $2/gal gasoline.

      I've already had that debate with my bat-sh!t crazy right wing coworkers.

      I'm starting to hate Arizona. And it's only getitng hotter and drier here too.

        People don't understand that 100 years ago the US was the Saudi Arabia of the world and that lasted through WWII. If you look at the current OPEC countries they sell domestic gasoline at an 80-90% discount to the real world price. The greatest generation, and even the boomers (including me), remember when gas was 25 cents a gallon. We are several generations away from having Americans think that expensive gasoline has any societal benefits.
