Sympathy on handling all the kiddos sans Nick. I think DirecTV is doing the right thing by standing up to Viacom. But I dunno: Like you, Nica24, I don't have much patience for fights between megabillionaires.

I do need my Jon & Stephen fix, too. Props to BruinKid for putting this diary together. As of yesterday, Viacom had pulled current eps from the web. Would much prefer to watch them here than directly on the ComCentral sites.

This is a lot of work, BK. Much, much thanks!

    •  Yeah as much as they are both (6+ / 0-)

gazillionaire companies, I'm with Directv on this one. Let me choose which of their channels I want. I could care less about mtv or even Nick (most of the time), but I need comedy central! They do seem to be doing fine with Disney and ABC family, and lots of videos!

Republicans piss on you and tell you it's raining, Democrats hand you an umbrella!

I need Jon & Stephen, so the only Viacom network I need is ComCentral. I 'fess up to watching a trashy show here or there on two or three of their other networks. But that's only because I've been consuming a ridiculous amount of TeeVee as I'm laid up during a prolonged cancer recovery. Really, I can live without every Viacom channel except the one that delivers Jon & Stephen. I don't like to watch TeeVee online, because my job has me at the keyboard all day.

Much as I hate the delay, it seems that DirecTV is drawing an important line in the sand that may save ALL TV consumers from endlessly escalating cable & satellite bills.
