    the ACLU yet?  This is a particularly egregious case of the state imposing their religious views on women, to the detriment of not just the woman but their children.  If she had bought a morning after pill and took it, they could have done the SAME THING.

    And I take it that the neighbor ratted her out to the police.  Nice.

      in S. Carolina is in serious flux right now the last I heard.  I don't know that they're able to do much.  I could be wrong though, they may have been able to regroup. Or the national group may have stepped in.

      One-issue voters get what they deserve.

      How can they charge this woman with failing to report the abortion to the coroner, when doing so makes her liable for investigation and prosecution in the abortion?

      I can't imagine a clearer case of a Fifth Amendment prohibition on self-incrimination, even though IANAL.
