voting for Rmoney is to vote "against" Obama.

But this strategy is usually a failure; it failed the Dems in 2010 even though it was true and it doesn't seem to be motivating Dems who have unfavourable opinions of Obama to turn out in 2012.

You can't win elections but promicing to be what the other guy is not.  You can only win by telling people what you are; and Rmoney has not even started doing that yet.

It is still July, but if they are still saying "vote Romney to stop Obama" in October, then the election is as good as over.

Tax and Spend I can understand. I can even understand Borrow and Spend. But Borrow and give Billionaires tax cuts? That I have a problem with.

    •  I'm wondering about the convention. (0+ / 0-)

How much will be about Romney, and how much will be about Obama?  That will be telling, I think, as far as how much confidence the party has in their candidate.
