    McCain says in an interview broadcast tonight that his team found nothing of concern in Romney's taxes.

    And, you know what? I believe him 100%.

    Why did McCain's group not find anything of concern in the taxes? Because they never bothered to look.

    McCain was taking major heat over his own perceived wealth (actually his wife's) and his inability to even say how many houses he owned. The LAST thing they wanted to add to the campaign was a VP pick who was worth untold millions of dollars and who really brought nothing of value to the campaign.

    So, they didn't bother wasting any time looking at the thousands of pages of tax returns (assuming Romney gave them a full dump).

    Yes, I wrote that last sentence just so I could use the phrase "full dump".
